Artisan and Blacksmith, Anthony Burgos, has been producing hand forged creations and specializing in metal fabrication since 1987. In his younger years, he was instructed by family members, in order to be successful you must always remember the following…“Give as if to never receive, work each day with full honest effort and always be fair”

Moving from Long Island, New York to Telluride, Colorado and subsequently Ouray, Colorado, He’s found the inspiration for much of his work amongst the mountains and natural landscape. Over 37 years later, these standards and teachings still ring true, combining an old world work ethic and a variety of moral standards.

Currently, his work resides in numerous homes and businesses in the surrounding mountain towns such as Telluride, Ouray, Ridgway, Crested Butte, Gunnison, Silverton and Miami, Florida. The Stronghold motto, “Quality…Forged with pride” is well suited as every creation is a reflection of his level of quality and attention to detail.
